Our Seventh Wedding Anniversary

July 24, 2011

Seven years ago, we became husband a wife… wow, how time flies and how things have changed! Today we spent our anniversary together with our little family. Here’s Simon, the joy of our lives.

We had brunch together at Il Fornaio.

This is like a crab cakes eggs benedict.

Ron and Simon shared the breakfast pizza.

After our brunch at the fountain nearby.

Then we went home and set up Simon’s inflatable pool.

He had fun splashing around and tired himself out for a good afternoon nap. A wonderful day.

Sipping Soup

July 23, 2011

Simon likes soup. Today’s lunch was a tomato bisque. He gets a bit messy since he tries to use his teeth to scrape the soup off the spoon.

In the afternoon, we went to the water-sand park in Walnut Creek.

Helping Daddy with Laundry

July 21, 2011

Apparently Simon likes yogurt. This is Yoplait Light but it still had high fructose corn syrup as one of the main ingredients. We figured that out a little bit too late so now he only will eat sweetened yogurt and not the kids’ yogurt which isn’t as sweet.

His spoon skills are a lot better now too. He doesn’t get overly messy (but can still get messy if he’s too hungry).

Ron is teaching Simon some house chores. Here he is helping with laundry.

Second and Third Haircut

July 20, 2011

Ron said Simon was scratching his ears a lot and thought his long hair was annoying him in this warm weather… so he cut his hair (cut #2). So ugly! Now he really looks like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. Check out this haircut and them discussing brushing teeth.

Then they went to get a proper haircut (cut #3) at Lil Couture Salon in San Mateo. He cried for a full 10 minutes (Ron has a video) but the haircut turned out cute, but super short! This hairdresser was a bit more patient and quicker than the first one. After his haircut he went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Chung. He has his shirt off because the pieces of hair leftover from the haircut were making him itchy.

On their way home, they stopped by my work for us to all go to dinner. We ended up at Zachary’s Pizza on College Avenue. Simon couldn’t wait for the pizza but loved chomping on the bread sticks.
