No Nap = Too Tired

For the first time in a long time, I didn’t bring lunch so treated myself to Bakesale Betty’s Fried Chicken Sandwich. The bread has changed and I think the price changed. It was $7.75 for the sandwich and $6.95 for the salad. The slaw was still just as yummy, the chicken breading delicious though the chicken a little dry, and the bread was delicious except that it kept on breaking apart. My 1000 calories for the day.

When I picked up Simon from school, I observed all the Lunar New Year decorations the kids were working on. They made firecrackers.

And some signs.

Simon was a little bit in a bad mood when I picked him up. When he gets in the car, I always buckle him in before he is allowed to have his snack. Today, he got a bit upset with me for trying to buckle him in and almost started to cry. Then he started disagreeing with whatever I said on the drive home. Within a few minutes of finishing his snack, he was out cold. He did not take his nap at school so this is probably why he was fussy. Ron carried him into the house and Simon continued to sleep.

Iris greeted me happily at home.

After his nap and some dinner, Simon was in a better mood and had a good bubble bath.
