Silver Bells Arts & Crafts and Tanpopo

This morning I went to the Silver Bells Arts & Crafts Faire near Japantown. They had a lot of Asian inspired crafts including jewelry, purses, candles, kitchenware, artwork, cards, etc. It was very crowded but everyone was very friendly and I got a few nice gifts for friends and family. I can’t wait to see what they have next year!

Afterwards, I met up with Ron and we had lunch in Japantown at Tanpopo. They had Kyushu Ramen with Chashu. It’s a delicious pork bone broth with roasted pork. It’s one of the closest to the ramen we had in Japan and it was pretty affordable. This bowl of ramen had extra chashu and is a large bowl for $10. Quite filling and good after a walk in the cold.

After coming home though, Ron and I both had a bit of food coma. Maybe too much starch…

Bistro Boudin

Our infusion center had a holiday party at Bistro Boudin in Fisherman’s Wharf tonight. I haven’t been to Fisherman’s Wharf in a long time… I look forward to going back again during the day time to explore again. We had Hors d’Ĺ“uvres, drinks, and just enjoying each others company away from work.

My coworker Monica was nice enough to give me a ride to the party and buy me a drink. This is something called “Passion”.

The delicious food (tuna, chicken, bacon wrapped fig, bacon cheeseburger, crab cakes, sausage):

We did a secret santa exchange and had a nice relaxing time.

They had some cool bread sculptures and also gave us a free loaf of “stocking” bread to take home.
