Day 54

We enjoy “talking” to Simon while he is playing on his mat.  He’s been waving his hands and arms around randomly and occasionally hitting the hanging toys.  We encourage him whenever he makes contact, hoping he will recognize that is what he is supposed to do with the toys.  He responds with such cute sounds like he wants to talk with us.  I am looking forward to hearing his first word!

I love looking at Simon when he is awake and alert.  His eyes seem unusually large (and are super cute) yet he’s always squinting and has furrowed eyebrows.  What do babies need to be concerned about?  Ron is very excited that Simon is able to move his right eyebrow upward without moving the left side since Ron can do it too (but I cannot).  I guess it’s genetic.
