Day 70
Simon was a great napper on our vacation but that was probably because of the car soothing him to sleep. He does not nap so well at home so can get kind of cranky and fussy during the daytime. Not sure how we can remedy that but maybe it is considered normal for him. He is usually more alert and active in late afternoon or early evening. We went for a late afternoon walk and he stayed awake for a while but eventually fell asleep and slept a solid 2 hours.
I’d say he was exhausted while mommy was shopping. I just hope that he is getting enough restful sleep in the morning… since he doesn’t nap well, he doesn’t stay awake very long before being tired and fussy so I’m not sure if he is getting enough stimulation/interaction. I don’t want to stall his development.
But when his is active, he is really active. I love his cute cheerful expressions.
