Iris had her 6 month well baby check today. She’s about an 80th percentile baby. She weighed in at 17 lbs 9.8 oz. She is 27 inches tall. Her head circumference is 43 cm.
She did really well at the doctor’s office. Happy, smiling, and playing. Only when she got her shots did she turn really red when she burst out crying but quickly calmed down after hugging her and patting her back. Her legs are a little sore to the touch but otherwise she’s in a cheerful mood. She even fell asleep in the car so it must not be too painful. I love that she’s grasping her blanket.
Simon didn’t really want to take a picture with me today so I only got one where he was looking at the camera.
Iris is at the stage where she wants to put everything in her mouth. Like trying to eat the tray table of her Bumbo seat.
It’s super hard to get a picture with her little 6 month old sign because she wants to play with it. “Hmm, what is this?”
“I want it!”
Iris, happy 6 months!
Tomorrow she will commence solid foods!
