Today was a restful day. At least for me, I just went to the pool downstairs to sun and play with my camera (actually my dad’s Nikon D80, I’ve been *borrowing* it for the last 6 months or so…) since I don’t really know how to use all the settings yet.
So first I thought I’d just show you the layout of our 2-bedroom villa at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club.
It has a guestroom with it’s own bathroom:
Also a master bedroom:
And also a living room area with a kitchenette and the oceanfront view:
It’s way too huge for just the two of us so we hope to be able to share it with friends in the future.
Here’s one of the pictures I took as the sun was setting, a bit grainy so I’m still trying to work it out..
Ron went on a night scuba dive. He had a different view of the sunset.
He said the first dive he went on was at a sunken ship. They is a Carthaginian replica sunk in Lahaina. He went down 97 feet to explore the ship and its sea creatures. He said he saw squid but no octopus. A fellow diver had an underwater camera so hopefully we can get some photos from him later. He went on a regular second dive to check out more underwater fish. Sounded like it was a bit scary since it’s really dark except for the torch they give you.
