Homemade Singaporean Chili Crab

Ron went crabbing again on Sunday and had better luck this time around. He caught one Dungeness crab and one Rock crab.

Here they are in a salt water bath.

We didn’t have time to cook them until Monday night and Ron attempted his own version on Singaporean chili crab and it turned out pretty well. Almost like the real thing except we were missing the buns (we used sourdough bread to dip the sauce instead).

One crab for the both of us is quite filling with all the bread and slurping up all the sauce. I’d share the recipe but Ron didn’t tell me what he actually put in the sauce, harass him if you want to find out what he used 🙂

Ron – what’s the recipe? I had some really good chili crab down by the East Coast Parkway.
