We couldn’t leave Singapore without having the famous Sunday champagne brunch at Raffles Hotel. It costs something like $130SGD per person but it is well worth it. The food is fabulous and the champagne is good and freely flows. My glass was never more than half empty before they would come back for refills. My favorite part of buffets is the dessert and they didn’t let me down. We had a good group and had a great time.

After brunch, Ron and I had to rush back to finish cleaning out our apartment as our lease was up and we were going to stay over with my coworker Yuet Peng. We had to meet up with the leasing agent and the landlord’s representative to finalize our moving out then had a whole fiasco with getting taxis to take us to my coworker’s place in Choa Chu Kang. But we finally made with all our luggage and ourselves intact.
