Tajimaya Japanese Restaurant in VivoCity

Since we will be leaving Singapore soon and so will some of our friends, we wanted to get together and enjoy each others company and yummy food.

We decided on Tajimaya in VivoCity. We had agedashi tofu, combination sashimi, tempura, meat for BBQ, and pumpkin pudding. We shared a bottle of sake.

All was good with the dinner until a few hours after I got home. I woke up with severe hives all over my hands and back. I don’t know if it was the sake (since the sake was the least expensive bottle) or the food (the spices)? but it was a bit scary and I ended up waking up to take Benadryl and lathering on hydrocortisone cream. I’m all ok now but it wasn’t pleasant for those few hours.
